It’s shaping up to be a bumper busy month in May for Les Atkinson’s Under 20s Development Side with two cup finals on the horizon and the side on the brink of securing the League title with one point required with three games left to play.
Unbeaten so far this campaign, Atkinson’s side, led by Captain Jake Cunningham, are on the cusp of picking up their first title since the 2018-19 campaign and victory at the Vanloq Community Stadium on Friday night would see them secure silverware in front of a home crowd.
Five of the u20s squad, Harvey Chisholm, Jamie Anderson, Max Williamson, James Clare and Duncan Proudfoot have made their Senior XI debut this season, testament to the hard work put in by a talented group of players in one of the strongest squads the coaching teams have had the opportunity to work with since the commencement of the Development XI in 2015.
Home matches entry is by donation at the gate. Cup Finals admission and further details will be announced on our social media channels shortly.
