As we reshape our coaching team, The Spartans can confirm that Darren Cameron has moved on from his coaching role at the club.
Darren has been with us for fourteen seasons and has played an instrumental part in the success we have achieved during this time.
Chairman Craig Graham stressed how important Darren has been on our journey to the SPFL. “Darren joined us as one of our coaches before becoming assistant manager in recent seasons. Darren’s commitment to Spartans has been exceptional and there have been so many players who have benefitted from his support and encouragement.
“We wish him well going forward and he will always be fondly remembered at Spartans”.
Reflecting on his career at Spartans, Darren said, “Having spent 14 years at the club as First Team Coach and Assistant Manager, I feel the time is right for me to move on.
“I’d like to thank all the players past and present that I have worked with, I have enjoyed working with you all.
“I would like to wish James and all the players the very best for the rest of the season and beyond.”
