The Spartans will open their 2026-27 KDM Evolution Trophy campaign on the road against League One outfit East Fife following today’s fixture unveil.
Our trip to New Bayview is just one of two away days in the six match qualifying group stage that features two B Teams from the Premiership.
One of those is our second opponents, Hearts, who visit the Vanloq Community Stadium on August 25th.
Next up, we welcome Hamilton Academicals for a rare meeting between the sides, the first since the sides met in the Final of the Ronnie Swan Challenge Cup in July 2009, when Dean Hoskins and Chris Smith netted in a 2-0 victory for Spartans.
A midweek trip to the Borders then awaits when we face our old friends from the East of Scotland League, Gala Fairydean and another opportunity to admire the iconic Netherdale stand.
The only Saturday fixture in the schedule comes on the 26th September with a home tie against Dundee B for the inaugural meeting between the clubs.
Completing the series at home on Tuesday 13th October we face Bonnyrigg Rose, a repeat of last season’s Scottish Cup R3 tie.
