The Spartans are delighted to welcome Jake Davidson on his return to the Vanloq Community Stadium following his loan move from Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
Davidson, who plies his trade in midfield, is back for his second loan spell in North Edinburgh following his 18 appearances clocked-up in the 2019-20 campaign.
It was during that time where Davidson scored what Manager Douglas Samuel describes as one of the top goals during his time at the helm when his mazy injury time run saw 9-man Spartans come from behind to defeat East Stirling in a Lowland League fixture on the road.
Life after Spartans saw the 25 year old head to Queen’s Park where he helped them gain promotion before heading across to League of Ireland outfit Waterford. The bulk of Jake’s senior career was spent at Queen’s Park before joining their Championship rivals Inverness Caledonian Thistle ahead of another loan move, this time to Hamilton Accies.
We’re delighted to have Jake back in the home dressing room for the remainder of the campaign and Spartans fans from those pre-Covid months and days will undoubtedly recall the positive addition he was to the squad then.
