The Spartans make the midweek journey to the City of Discovery for Match Day 3 in their Premier Sports Cup escapades where they face Premiership outfit Dundee United.
Last season Spartans met the Tangerines B side in the KDM Evolution Trophy with Archie Wylie scoring the winner at the Vanloq Community Stadium before the sides then locked horns at Tannadice in the last 16 of the Scottish Cup. Mark Stowe’s 78th minute goal setting up a frantic finale against their lofty opponents on the night.
The Premier Sports Group B table sees Dundee United at the top having won 2 out of the three ties that have played. Their defeat coming against our opponents this coming Saturday, Montrose, therefore a win for Douglas Samuel’s side could throw the proverbial cat amongst the metaphorical pigeons in search of qualification to the latter stages.

⚠️Matchday Parking: A Restricted Parking Zone operates around Tannadice on matchdays. Please do not park on surrounding residential streets unless you have a valid permit, as parking restrictions are enforced and penalty notices may be issued.
🅿️Alternative Parking: Greenmarket Carpark, Overgate Shopping Carpark, Bell Street Carpark, Camperdown Leisure Park – All within a 20-minute walk to the stadium.
🚂TRAVELING BY TRAIN: Edinburgh Waverly -Dundee approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. 🚶Circa 1.5 miles walk to the stadium (35-40 minutes).
