The Spartans continue their pre-season endeavours on Saturday as Clydebank head to North Edinburgh for the second of three games within a week for Douglas Samuel’s men.
After getting ninety minutes of lung burning air against Ayr under their collective belts, its back to action against a Clydebank side who will likely feature the familiar face of Arran Preston who had a successful loan spell at the Vanloq Community Stadium in the second half of last season.
It’s only the second time the clubs will have played each other having previously met in the Scottish Cup during the 2022-23 campaign.
The game at Holm Park saw the home side go in at the interval a goal to the good however two goals in four chaotic second half minutes saw Spartans edge ahead through Mikey Allan and Sam Jones with Jamie Dishington completing the scoring at the death.
Of course, much has changed since. Spartans of course now enter their third season in SPFL 2 whilst Clydebank will play their first game on Saturday following their historic title win that sees them join the Lowland League in the next stage of their pyramid journey.
Kick-off on Saturday is 15.00h. Supporters are welcome in the Cafe/Bar which opens along with the turnstiles at 13.45h.
Tickets can be purchased in advance via the Fanbase app or you can pay at the gate. Please note that there is no segregation inside the ground as we want everyone to come along, support their team – or as a neutral – and enjoy themselves in a socially acceptable fashion.
Season Tickets are valid for all three pre-season games and can be purchased and / or picked up at the merch hut.
